Volleyball Recap: Green Valley Takes a Loss

Green Valley saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks.

Green Valley's offense was headlined by Yasen Kolev and Taylor Beck, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Zechariah Nissley and his 12 assists. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Green Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Murrieta Valley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Green Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Sunrise Mountain on the 28th. As for Murrieta Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Colony on the 1st.
