There's no place like home for Norfolk Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Granby Comets with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Ambassadors haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Norfolk Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-12.

Norfolk Christian now has a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norfolk Christian will take on Nansemond River at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granby, they will venture away from home to challenge Norcom at 4:00 p.m. on September 3.
