Soccer Recap: Pebblebrook Comes Up Short

Pebblebrook lost against Harrison back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pebblebrook lost 10-0 to Harrison. While losing is never fun, Pebblebrook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 335th, while Harrison are ranked ninth).

Pebblebrook has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. The victory was the eighth in a row for Harrison, bringing their record up to 11-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pebblebrook will face off against rival Hillgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harrison is set to challenge their familiar foe McEachern at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
