Pecos entered their tilt with Logan on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Longhorns get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Aubrie Lujan made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (three). She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Arlanni Gabaldon was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
