Pecos entered their tilt with Logan on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Longhorns get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Aubrie Lujan made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (three). She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Arlanni Gabaldon was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Leah Ruiz, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Pecos' victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Logan, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pecos is set to take on their familiar foe Tucumcari at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Logan will square off against rival Raton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
