Soccer Game Preview: Stony Point vs. Vandegrift

The Stony Point Tigers will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Vandegrift Vipers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Stony Point's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over East View.

Stony Point hit East View with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alexander Rodriguez, Riian Montez, and Isaiah Blake.

Meanwhile, Vandegrift hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Bridgeland.

Vandegrift's victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Stony Point, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Stony Point suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Vandegrift in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Stony Point was down 4-0.
