Preview: Arlington Admirals vs. White Plains Tigers
The Arlington Admirals will head out on the road to face off against the White Plains Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Arlington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on December 4th after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 44-37 to Red Hook.
Meanwhile, White Plains had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 45-37 victory over New Rochelle on Monday.
White Plains' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sequoia Layne led the charge by scoring nine points along with 11 rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Ineivi Plata, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for White Plains, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Arlington was dealt a bruising 64-36 loss at the hands of White Plains when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Arlington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
