Soccer Recap: Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, the Heroes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Spartans are ranked 29th).

Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Heritage Academy has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Highland Prep West on the 11th. As for Gilbert Classical Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 victory against Tempe Prep on the 12th.
