Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perth Amboy). They were the clear victors by a 22-10 margin over the South River Rams on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Perth Amboy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for South River, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-3.

Perth Amboy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-8 victory against Kennedy Memorial on the 19th. As for South River, they will square off against Highland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Owls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.25 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
