Soccer Game Preview: Upland vs. Chino Hills

Upland and Chino Hills are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Upland Highlanders/Scots will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against the Chino Hills Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Upland is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games.

Upland's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Etiwanda by a score of 2-0.

Matthieu Ocampo and Drew Shoji scored both of Upland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, neither Chino Hills nor Rancho Cucamonga could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Upland's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1. Chino Hills' draw gives them a new season record of 9-2-3.

Upland beat Chino Hills by a goal in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Upland repeat their success, or does Chino Hills have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
