Apex has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Green Hope recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. Apex will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Hope  at 6:00  p.m. Apex has given up an average of 10.2  runs per game this season, but Wednesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Apex is headed into Wednesday's   match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Tuesday. They came up short against  Middle Creek, falling  14-4.
 Apex saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Addie Louder, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.  Blakely Sellers also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Green Hope came into Tuesday's   game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past Green Level  9-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Falcons have posted  since March 12, 2024.
 Rachael Baldyga was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Those  11  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Ainsley Campbell, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run and three  runs.  Kai Alesio was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Apex's  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5. As for Green Hope, their  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6.
Wednesday's   contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Apex hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .320. However, it's not like Green Hope struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .346. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Apex took their  victory against Green Hope  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  14-3. Does  Apex have another victory up their sleeve, or will Green Hope turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
