Kyle Cox's Big Game Leads Sandhills/Thedford over Brady
Sandhills/Thedford picked up their 15th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kyle Cox. Cox was dynamite, rushing for 153 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 51 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 19th straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Cox is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Mullen on Thursday. When Cox last faced the Broncos back in October of 2023, he rushed for 286 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 78 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.

Jesse Reyes posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 167 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry.
Maxwell dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats dukes it out withBayard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Alex Werner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (113).

Underclassman Beau Rice Major Player in Hyannis Victory
Underclassman Beau Rice came into Thursday's matchup looking to prove himself and that's exactly what he did. He turned in nothing short of a gem on Thursday, rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also picking up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
The victory got Hyannis back to even at 3-3. Rice and Hyannis will head out to challenge Brady at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tate Kvanvig Goes Supernova in Mullen Win
The second Mullen player making an appearance here is Tate Kvanvig, and for good reason. He rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Kvanvig and Mullen will take on Sandhills/Thedford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Kvanvig up against the Knights' star rusher Maurice Robinson. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
