Baseball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Dayton fell victim to Liberty Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Liberty Christian Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on Tuesday.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Liberty Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Dayton will face off against Sunnyside Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunnyside Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Dayton's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Liberty Christian, they will square off against Touchet at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be Touchet's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
