Football Recap: Oakmont Regional Comes Up Short

Oakmont Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the West Boylston/Tahanto Lions and fell 45-0. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Spartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Oakmont Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Boylston/Tahanto, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Oakmont Regional and West Boylston/Tahanto will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Spartans see the field they'll take on Lunenburg at 6:00 p.m. on November 26. As for West Boylston/Tahanto, their break will end when they face Maynard at 10:00 a.m. on November 27.
