Soccer Recap: Rowlett's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Rowlett managed to keep up with Wylie until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Rowlett Eagles lost 4-1 to the Wylie Pirates. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rowlett's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matchups. As for Wylie, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Rowlett will host Lakeview Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wylie, they will venture away from home to challenge Garland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
