Softball Game Preview: Silver Bluff Bulldogs vs. Keenan Raiders

The Silver Bluff Bulldogs will square off against the Keenan Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Bluff will be strutting in after a victory while Keenan will be coming in after a defeat.

Silver Bluff took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Bamberg-Ehrhardt, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Silver Bluff came out on top in a nail-biter against Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Monday, sneaking past 5-4. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 27, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Ryley Bowman made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Bowman was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Bowman wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Kent, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Keenan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Swansea, falling 17-1.

Keenan's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Silver Bluff, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
