Basketball Recap: Rockbridge County Comes Up Short

Rockbridge County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Turner Ashby Knights, falling 70-50. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Rockbridge County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Turner Ashby, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

When Rockbridge County and Turner Ashby next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Rockbridge County will try to stop William Monroe's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Turner Ashby will square off against Spotswood and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
