Soccer Recap: Floresville Takes a Loss

Floresville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Lockhart Lions. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Tigers/Jaguars were already down 7-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Ava Talamantez, who's now up to seven this season.

Floresville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Lockhart, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Floresville will be playing at home against John F. Kennedy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lockhart, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bandera at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bandera will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lockhart surely won't give up without a fight.
