Gladstone's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Molalla Indians by a score of 13-8. The Gladiators haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Gabriella Gunderson made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ashlynne Franssen, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Jayna Butler was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.

Gladstone kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Gladstone's record now sits at 8-9. As for Molalla, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.

Gladstone will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
