Recap: Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers vs. Big Sandy Red Devils        
        
		
            
 This season hasn't been kind to the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers, who are still winless after their 12th matchup. They were dealt a  80-50 loss at the hands of Big Sandy on Friday. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central in their matchups with Big Sandy: they've now lost four in a row.
 Big Sandy got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cole Pierpoint out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 15  rebounds. Pierpoint is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dalton Barnes, who  scored 18 points along with five  assists.
 Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central bumped their record down to 0-12 with that  loss, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Big Sandy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central will take on Houston County at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Houston County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Big Sandy, Big Sandy and McKenzie will face off  at 7:15  p.m.  on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in McKenzie's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last four games.
