Soccer Recap: Bingham Comes Up Short

If Bingham was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Highland last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Miners fell 3-1 to the Springville Red Devils on Tuesday. Bingham were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Springville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Bingham's goal came courtesy of Sofia Davis, which was the first she's scored this season.

Bingham now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Springville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Bingham will venture away from home to face off against Juan Diego Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Juan Diego Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bingham surely won't give up without a fight. As for Springville, they will face off against Skyridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
