Baseball Game Preview: Harker Eagles vs. Priory Panthers

For the first time this season, Harker will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to face off against the Priory Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Harker fell victim to Capuchino and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since April 10, 2025.

Meanwhile, Priory came tearing into Monday's contest with five straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Royals 10-2.

Harker's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Priory, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Harker skirted past Priory 4-2 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
