Recap: Krum Bobcats vs. Sunnyvale
The Krum Bobcats and Sunnyvale squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Krum Bobcats had to settle for second. Krum had to suffer through a rough 47-7 loss at the hands of Sunnyvale. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, Krum couldn't push the score so high this time.
Despite the loss, Krum still got an impressive performance from Case Pitt janopoulos, who picked up 134 receiving yards and a touchdown. Pitt janopoulos' longest reception was for an incredible 79 yards.
Sunnyvale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nelson Peterson jr, who threw for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Owen J dlabaj did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 118 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Krum now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Sunnyvale, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Krum does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sunnyvale is on the road again on Thursday and play against Gilmer at 7:00 p.m. on November 16th. Gilmer is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
