Volleyball Recap: Chrisman Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Chrisman was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Raytown South on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Fort Osage Indians on Tuesday. The Bears have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-12, 25-8.

Rubi Mathis paced Chrisman's offense, picking up three kills. Mathis got some help from Jazelle David and her three assists.

Mya Holloway was a one-woman wrecking crew For Fort Osage. as she had seven aces and six digs. That's the most aces Holloway has posted since back in September of 2024.

Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Fort Osage, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Chrisman has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Grain Valley on the 11th. As for Fort Osage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Ruskin on the 11th.
