Recap: Wooster Generals vs. Lexington Minutemen
The Wooster Generals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 78-50 loss at the hands of Lexington. Wooster has struggled against Lexington recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Wooster's loss came despite strong showings from Anthony Carmean and Ethan Shetler. Carmean scored 18 points, while Shetler scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds. Brady Bowen was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Wooster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lexington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wooster will challenge Ashland at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield Senior and Lexington are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
