Cincinnati Christian scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 73-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roger Bacon Spartans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (55), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Leading Roger Bacon to victory were Christian Byrd and Michael Noszka Jr.. Byrd went 12 for 17 on his way to 31 points in addition to five assists and three steals, while Noszka Jr. went 7 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points. With that strong performance, Byrd is now averaging an impressive 18.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Smart, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Cincinnati Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Roger Bacon, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
