Soccer Game Preview: Palo Verde vs. Arbor View + How To Watch

The Palo Verde Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Arbor View Aggies at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Palo Verde will be strutting in after a win while Arbor View will be coming in after a loss.

Palo Verde is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Faith Lutheran, who was ranked sixth at the time (Palo Verde was ranked fourth). The Panthers beat the Crusaders by a goal, winning 2-1.

Meanwhile, Arbor View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to Bishop Gorman.

Bryce Rocha and Desmond Guevara scored both of Arbor View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Palo Verde is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-3 record this season. As for Arbor View, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

Palo Verde was able to grind out a solid victory over Arbor View in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
