Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Valley Christian finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Castro Valley Trojans by a score of 2-0. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1187th, while the Trojans are ranked 428th).

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Castro Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

Valley Christian has already played their next game, a 48-47 loss against Making Waves Academy on the 13th. As for Castro Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-58 win against Piedmont on the 14th.
