Football Recap: Jackson Central Merry Takes a Loss

Jackson Central Merry was the 30-14 winner over Jackson South Side when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 26-13 to the Hawks on Thursday.

Jackson Central Merry's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jackson South Side, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson Central Merry will host Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Jackson South Side, they will be playing at home against Jackson North Side at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. This will be the Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
