Florida leads with 12 selections and IMG Academy is only school with three players chosen.

By having 12 players drafted, Florida finished with the most former high school players selected in the 2023 NBA Draft. California and Texas finished in second with four selections each.

The Sunshine State also had the most first-round selections with 10: Amen Thompson (Rockets), Ausar Thompson (Pistons), Jarace Walker (Pacers), Taylor Hendricks (Jazz), Jett Howard (Magic), Keyonte George (Jazz), Jalen Hood-Schifino (Lakers), Dariq Whitehead (Nets), Kris Murray (Trail Blazers) and Brice Sensabaugh (Jazz).

Texas is headlined by Anthony Black, who was drafted sixth overall by the Orlando Magic on Thursday. Black helped Duncanville win the national championship alongside Ron Holland with a 35-1 record in 2021-22.

Notable selections from California include Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Amari Bailey.

In total, 22 states had at least one selection.

IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) was the only school to have three players selected: Jarace Walker, Jett Howard and Keyonte George. Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) and Link Academy (Branson, Mo.) all had two draft picks.

All players are connected to the school where they finished their prep career.
