Football Recap: Sumrall Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sumrall's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 14-10 to the Laurel Golden Tornadoes. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Bobcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Sumrall dropped their record down to 6-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Laurel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumrall will host North Pike at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.89 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Laurel, they will be playing at home against South Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
