Flag Football Recap: Peachtree Academy Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Peachtree Academy's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 last Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Peachtree Academy and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Scholars Guild Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Peachtree Academy and Scholars Guild Academy will both be playing Covington Academy the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
