Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Jackson-Milton Bluejays, falling 24-14. On the bright side, the 14- run performance marked the Red Devils' highest-scoring contest to date.

Josue Rodriguez was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four RBI. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Santiago, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Jackson-Milton, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-1.
