Soccer Recap: Yelm Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yelm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Kitsap Wolves. While losing is never fun, Yelm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 224th, while South Kitsap are ranked 81st).

Yelm's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for South Kitsap, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5-1.

Coming up, Yelm will venture away from home to challenge Puyallup at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Kitsap, they will host Spanaway Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Kitsap will be up against Spanaway Lake's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.83 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
