Soccer Recap: Sierra Vista Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Sierra Vista was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Nogales Nobles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Sierra Vista's record moves to 2-5-3. As for Nogales, they moved theirs to 7-2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra Vista will head out to challenge Baldwin Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sierra Vista's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Nogales, they are taking a road trip to take on Azusa at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Azusa's last five games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
