Volleyball Recap: Lindbergh Flyers vs. Farmington Knights

Lindbergh won the last time they faced Farmington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Flyers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flyers.
Lindbergh got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vera Stremlau out in front who had 22 assists and three digs. Another player making a difference was Kirsten Gororo, who had 11 digs.
Ally Boyd and Brenna Botkin certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Boyd had 19 assists and five digs, while Botkin had 17 digs and 11 kills. Botkin has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last five times she's played.
The win got Lindbergh back to even at 14-14-1. As for Farmington, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 22-8-1.
