After having lost a blowout in their previous game against David Thibodaux, Westgate was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Northside Vikings get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since April 12, 2024.

Westgate's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Northside, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Westgate didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 defeat against Teurlings Catholic on the 25th. As for Northside, they are taking a road trip to face off against Westgate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Northside's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
