Baseball Recap: Travelers Rest Takes a Loss

Travelers Rest lost against Easley back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Devildogs took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Wave. The Devildogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Travelers Rest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Easley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Coming up, Travelers Rest will challenge Wade Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Devildogs are facing the Generals at the right time seeing as the Generals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Easley, they will take on Mauldin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
