Meanwhile, Vandalia played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 68-36 defeat at the hands of Brownstown. The Vandals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-16.

Vandalia's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for DuQuoin, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.
