Basketball Game Preview: Resurrection Christian Cougars vs. Canon City Tigers + How To Watch

The Resurrection Christian Cougars will take on the Canon City Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Resurrection Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 50-46 to Severance. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Silver Knights 12-7 in the first quarter.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jenna Kennedy, who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Tatum Van Pelt, who scored eight points and seven steals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Canon City faced off against D'Evelyn on Saturday. The Tigers took a 30-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Resurrection Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Canon City, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
