Basketball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was the 37-32 winner over Brookville when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Madison Mohawks took a hard 52-33 fall against the Brookville Blue Devils on Saturday. The Mohawks were down 47-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Madison dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Brookville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Madison will be home for the holidays to greet Talawanda at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Brookville and Carlisle will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Brookville is facing Carlisle at the right time seeing as Carlisle is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
