Soccer Game Preview: East Chapel Hill vs. Jacksonville

The East Chapel Hill Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Jacksonville Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as East Chapel Hill comes in on four and Jacksonville on nine.

East Chapel Hill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Harnett Central, sneaking past 2-1. Given East Chapel Hill's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 45th, while Harnett Central are ranked 162nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville kept a clean sheet against Northern Nash on Monday. They blew past the Knights 5-0. Jacksonville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Northern Nash from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

East Chapel Hill's record is now 16-3-2. As for Jacksonville, their record now sits at 16-4-2.
