Softball Recap: King Find Success

King owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Holy Child Gryphons 1-0.

The result came thanks to Elizabeth Tuttle's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, King saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Drexel, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

King now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Holy Child, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.

Looking ahead, King will host Hopkins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Holy Child does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
