Volleyball Recap: Pierce County Takes a Loss

Pierce County was the 2-0 winner over Appling County when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Pierce County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Appling County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Coming up, Pierce County will challenge The Habersham School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Appling County, they will face off against South Effingham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
