Christ the Cornerstone Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Liberty Christian Academy Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Defenders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Christ the Cornerstone Academy took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 25-14.

Christ the Cornerstone Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
