Baseball Game Preview: Sumner Tigers vs. Bucksport Golden Bucks

Sumner hasn't had much luck against Bucksport recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing at home against the Golden Bucks at 4:30 p.m.

Sumner is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They lost 10-0 to Narraguagus.

Meanwhile, Bucksport waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 12-2 victory. With that win, the Golden Bucks brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Nick Clair was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Jason Terrill was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Bucksport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bucksport's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Sumner, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
