Baseball Recap: Foundation Academy Lions vs. Ragsdale Tigers
Foundation Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 15) but on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Ragsdale Tigers 4-2. The win was familiar territory for Foundation Academy who now have five in a row.
Justin Salvati was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
On Ragsdale's side, Garrett Crum was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.
