Football Recap: Sharon Comes Up Short

Sharon was the 14-7 winner over Farrell when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Steelers on Saturday, falling 30-7. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Ethan Engelmore threw for 29 yards on five of 11 attempts. On the ground, Terrian White rushed for 36 yards and one score.

Juelz Johnson produced another solid effort rushing for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also picking up 56 receiving yards for Farrell. Johnson's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Jadon King-Vincent also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for Sharon and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Farrell, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Sharon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-10 victory against Meadville on the 26th. As for Farrell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 44-7 win against Wilmington on the 26th.
