Pocahontas has gone a perfect 6-0 against Blytheville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Pocahontas will look to defend their home field against Blytheville at 4:30 p.m. Pocahontas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Pocahontas is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Manila with a sharp 20-2 win on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redskins.

Bailey O'Donnell made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Kenzie Odgen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was River Duncan, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Pocahontas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Blytheville fell victim to Gosnell and their airtight pitching crew two weeks ago. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 19-0. The loss leaves the Chickasaws still looking for their first win of the season.

The victory got Pocahontas back to even at 4-4. As for Blytheville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Everything went Pocahontas' way against Blytheville in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Pocahontas made off with a 19-0 win. Does Pocahontas have another victory up their sleeve, or will Blytheville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
