It's playoff time, and Dexter had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the West Las Vegas Dons on Thursday as they made off with  a  10-3 victory. Considering the Demons have won 18 matches by more than six  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Kaylonie Nevarez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and one unearned) runs on five hits.
 On the hitting side, Dexter got a  massive  performance out of  Hannah Sanders, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs.  Maddie Miller was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  runs and one  double.
Dexter's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 26-3. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for West Las Vegas, their loss  ended  a  13-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 24-6.
 Dexter has already played their next game,  a  5-4  defeat against Cobre on the 16th. West Las Vegas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
