Basketball Recap: Bruce Comes Up Short

Bruce lost against New Auburn back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bruce Red Raiders took a blow against the New Auburn Trojans, falling 65-32. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 434th, while the Trojans are ranked 97th).

Bruce's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for New Auburn, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Bruce will face off against Flambeau at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Auburn, they will take on Independence/Gilmanton at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in New Auburn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
